YEREVAN, October 26. /ARKA/. Gagik Tsarukyan, large Armenian entrepreneur, leader of the party “Prosperous Armenia” does not see any signs of coming out of the crisis in Armenia.

“I do not yet see any way of coming out of the crisis. We should be patient and get united for supporting our country as much as possible, as we could not come out of the crisis ourselves”, said Tsarukyan on Monday to the journalists.

The economy will develop when everybody will have equal opportunities in all spheres. As for his own business, he said that no one job place was reduced in his enterprises despite the reduction of volume of sale. If in 2008 the enterprise exported 10 million bottles of cognac, in 2009 only 800 thousand bottles. If in 2008, 50 thousand tons of cement was exported to Georgia, this year it was about 3-4 thousand tons with low prices just having an aim not to lose the market.

“Once we could use the opportunities of the state and now we should invest our own resources for development, future, stability and prosperity of the country”, said Tsarukayn. Gagik Tsarukyan started his entrepreneurial activity in 1989. In 1995 he established and headed multi-profile company “Multi Group” which includes more than 30 enterprises, including Abovyan beer factory “Kotayk”, Yerevan Chemical-pharmaceutical Plant, network of furniture salons “Mek”, cognac-wine- vodka plant “Ararat”, Ararat Cement Plant. Gagik Tsarukyan is a deputy of National Assembly of Armenia since 2003. He is also the chairman and founder of the party “Prosperous Armenia” and the president of National Olympic Committee of Armenia.  --0--
