Investments of commercial banks of Armenia into state bonds reduced by 1% to 136.4 billion drams in July 2011

YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. In July 2011 Armenian banks invested over 136.4 billion drams in state bonds which is less than the indicator of June by 1%, states the report of CBA “Summarization of monetary-credit indicators”. In July, the residents of Armenia invested over 182 billion drams in state bonds (increase of 1.8% compared to the last month).

The share of banking investments in total volume of state bonds was 74.9%. The share of investments of Central Bank of Armenia in the state bonds was about 15.8% and non-banking agents, dealers and investors – 9.3%.

Total (residents and non-residents) investments in the state bonds in July were about 182.1 billion drams which is by 1.8% more than the indicator of June. ($1 – 371.92 drams). –0–

The average market exchange rate for the US dollar to the Armenian dram, determined on the Armenian foreign exchange market as of June 8, 2026, fell by 0.01 points compared to June 5, to 368.53 drams.
