YEREVAN, February 9. / ARKA /. The Stepan Gishyan charity foundation, run by ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, has announced today a grant competition, designed for legal entities,  the press service of the ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE  BANK reported.

It said the charitable foundation has started the process of accepting online applications. The deadline is March 10 inclusive.

The charity said the projects should address such issues as development of socio-economic, educational and scientific fields, health and culture, or several of the above-mentioned areas at the same time. The projects must be implemented exclusively in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The foundation will give preference to those projects that:

• promote the creation of new jobs;

• use as much local products and raw materials as possible;

• offer innovative solutions;

• are aimed at strengthening the Armenian-French relations.

The maximum amount of one grant is 4,000,000 AMD.

In 2015, ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, French Credit Agricole, the National Federation of Credit Agricole and the family of Gishyan founded the Stepan Gishyan charitable foundation (http://foundation-gishyan.am/).
ACBA was established in 1996 as part of EU’s TACIS program. As a result of a long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between ACBA Bank and the French Credit Agricole the latter became the biggest shareholder of ACBA in 2006, September. ACBA was restructured, becoming a closed joint stock company and was renamed ACBA CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK. -0-
