YEREVAN, July 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s 12-month inflation in late June 2021 was up 6.5% when compared to June 2020, the  National Statistical Committee (NSC) said today.

It said when  compared to May 2021, the prices in late June 2021 were down by 0.8%.

Also, the first half inflation in January-June 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, increased by 5.7%.

Armenian government’s growth projection for 2021 is 3.2%. The inflation forecast is  4% (± 1.5%). In early July, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the government revised upward the growth forecast to  6%. -0-
