YEREVAN, September 22. /ARKA/. In partnership with ACBA Leasing, four new poultry houses equipped with the latest technology were founded at the Nubarashen poultry farm, the press service of Acba bank said today.

It said the care of tiny yellow-beaked chicks is fully automated. From the technical rooms of the poultry farm, one can monitor the entire production processes of all 14 poultry houses.

The territory of the poultry farm previously housed one of the largest poultry farms in Soviet Armenia with 96 poultry houses. In 2010, when the new factory was founded, none of the previous production areas existed.

The Nubarashen poultry farm under the Erebuni trademark was created from scratch. Over the past ten years, the company has multiplied its production capacity. In the first year, the poultry meat production amounted to 400 tons, in 2020 – to 2,000 tons. Now construction is underway at the poultry farm. For the production of table eggs, 4 new poultry houses are being built, to be furnished with the latest German equipment. The partner is ACBA Leasing.

“Together with our partner ACBA Leasing, we purchased equipment for poultry houses using a government program. We bought 4 poultry houses, in one of which we are now; the three others already have laying hens. Their capacity is 85 thousand hens,” says CEO of the Nubarashen poultry farm Garegin Makaryan.

In February next year, the company will also produce table eggs for consumers. The local poultry farms now account for 35% of the market, the rest is imported. The poultry farm is convinced that next year local production will increase and will exceed the current production volumes.
