YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. A glass of wine and good mood in the name of one goal - the development of winemaking in Armenia. The largest wine festival of the year opened its doors to producers and lovers of wine, as well as thousands of tourists this past weekend, who gave a special place in their daily routine to the tasting of Armenian wines, the press service of Acba bank reports.

The Yerevan Wine Days Festival’s venue were the Moskovyan, Saryan and Tumanyan streets in downtown Yerevan. The festival was held with the assistance of Acba bank and the Visa international payment system: several dozens of producers met with their consumers, treated them and introduced new assortments.

Matevosyan Wine presented also the "Rose" wine made from black grapes, which will appear on the market a month later. The director of the company Vazgen Matevosyan said that ‘Matevosyan Wine’ is a family business. The father of the family is responsible for the quality of the wine at the factory, as the son is being educated in the field of winemaking. They cannot do otherwise: wine is a member of their family.

Matevosyan Wine was founded in 2001 and over these 21 years has earned its place and name in the field. In hindsight, they can't forget that from day one, Acba bank reached out to their business.

"Wine is a living being, you communicate with wine all the time; wine is a whole different class among productions. We watch the quality, we all know the intricacies of the entire production process all the way down to bottling. People, recognizing and seeing, already know that this is the one to choose. It does not leave us alone both during procurement and purchase of equipment. Acba bank does the impossible for us," said Vazgen Matevosyan, the Director of Matevosyan Wine.

Matevosyan Wine exports 90% of its production: wine lovers from the United States to Russia are familiar with it.
