Armenian government okays signing 100 million euro loan agreement with French Development Agency

YEREVAN, November 11. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today a proposal to sign a EUR 100 million loan agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the French Development Agency.

Under the agreement, the funds will be used to finance the state budget deficit in 2022.

The budget assistance program involves fiscal planning, risk management, enhancement of efficiency of public spending, reforms of public-private sector , modernization of public procurement system, development of 'green" economy policy and etc.

Armenia's 2022 budget calls for 1 trillion 947.8 billion drams in revenues (17% more as compared with 2021) and 2 trillion 184.4 billion drams in spending ((10% more than last year). The budget deficit is set at 236.2 billion drams, while GDP growth is projected at 7%. --0-
