Taxes paid by 17 Armenia-based commercial banks in 2022 grew by AMD 9.2 bln or 17.6% from the previous year to about AMD 52.3 bln, the Union of Banks of Armenia (UBA) said

The number of payment cards in Armenia in 2022  grew by almost 29% from the previous year to  over 3.1 million. Compared to 2011, their number grew by 226%, according to the Union of Banks of Armenia

Armenia-based 18 commercial banks’ credit portfolio in 2022 grew by 241 billion drams or 6.1% to about 4.2 trillion drams, the Union of Banks of Armenia said

The total capital of all Armenia-based banks increased by 38.8% or AMD 368 billion in 2022 to AMD 1.3 trillion, according to the Union of Banks of Armenia UBA). Compared to late September 2022, the banks’ capital grew by about AMD 112bln or 9.3%
