YEREVAN, April 27. /ARKA/. The Armenian government's debt-to-GDP ratio shrunk significantly, reaching 46.7% in 2022 from 60.2% a year earlier, Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan said Thursday.
According to Hovhannisyan, as of December 31, 2022, the government's debt totaled AMD 3.969 trillion or $10.86 billion.
According to official statistics, as of December 31, 2022, Armenia's aggregate state debt stood at $10,637,664,000. The government's foreign debt stood at $6,450,840,000 and the domestic debt was equivalent to $4,186,824,000 (an increase of $136.4 million). -0-
