YEREVAN, May 29. /ARKA/.  Armenian Finance Minister Vahe Hovhanissyan took part in the annual meeting of the Belgian-Dutch Constituency of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank that was held in Tivat, Montenegro May 25-26, the Armenian Ministry of Finance said.

It said the meeting in Tivat was attended by senior officials of the IMF and the World Bank, as well as governors of central banks who discussed the priorities of the IMF and WB policies and programs, as well as other key issues and challenges facing the European and world economy.

Armenian Finance Minister met with the World Bank's Vice-President for Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani, Director Koen Davidse who represents Armenian constituency on the WB Board of Directors and Vice-President for Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean of the International Finance Corporation Alfonso Garcia Mora.

They discussed issues related to current cooperation and exchanged views on opportunities to expand cooperation.

Hovhannisyan also had a separate meeting with his colleagues from the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, during which they agreed on joint steps to deepen the bilateral cooperation and exchange of experience, including through the organization of joint conferences and consultations. -0-
