YEREVAN, January 10. /ARKA/. Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Hovhannes Khachatryan said today  that a number of measures are being taken to increase the attractiveness of ArCa national payment system cards.

In particular, starting from January, all cards will be issued with NFC chips, which will allow contactless payment.  

"This is a small detail, however, as experience shows, it changes a lot," he said.  

Khachatryan also expressed hope that soon it will be possible to attach ArCa cards to the NFC chips of Android smartphones. That means users will be able to use the Google Pay electronic payment system. -0-
