YEREVAN, September 30 /ARKA/. Approximately 90% of mutual trade in the Eurasian Economic Union is carried out in national currencies, said the member of the Board (Minister) for Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC Bakhyt Sultanov.

“In terms of ensuring trade through the use of national currencies, there has been great progress: more than 90% of our mutual trade is in national currencies, and the development of financial systems, the integration of our payment systems in this area plays a very important role,” he told journalists on Monday on the sidelines of the Third Eurasian Economic Forum in Yerevan. 

According to Sultanov, this indicates that the role of national financial systems in this process strengthens the trade of participating countries. -0-
