YEREVAN, May 11. /ARKA/. The aggregate investments in Armenian government bonds in March 2016 grew by 1.5% from February to 339.7 billion drams, according to the March edition of the monthly bulletin of the Central Bank of Armenia.
Resident investments stood at 338.9 billion drams, having increased by 1.7% from February 2016.
The investments of Armenian banks in government bonds fell by 2.3% to 195.3 billion drams, while the investments of the Central Bank increased by 8.3% to 87.5 billion drams.
Investments in government bonds by non-bank investors grew by 5.1% to about 56 billion drams. At the same time, non-residents' investments in government bonds amounted to 790 million drams. ($ 1 - 479.03 drams). -0-
