YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group, the Armenian subsidiary of one of the biggest Russian banks –Gazprombank- gave several copies of unique encyclopedia "Russia-Armenia. Regions of Russia and marzes of Armenia” to schools in Noravan and Lukashin rural communities in Armavir marz (province).
Aleksandr Hakobyan, the head of Marketing and Advertising unit of the bank, described the Encyclopedia as ‘a fundamental reference book, summarizing and systematizing information on specific events, phenomena and objects, which are reflected in the history and cultural life of our economies and peoples."
The book includes such sections as: geography, mineral wealth, history, population, religion, power, economy, social sphere, sights, development strategies of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia, various feature articles, as well as information about prominent public figures of the past and present.
