YEREVAN, November 6. /ARKA/. ArmRosgasprom tops the list of 1,000 biggest tax payers of Armenia by the end of the first three quarters of 2012, as published by the country’s State Revenue Committee.
According to the report, the company paid more than 22.6bln drams to the government budget in January-September 2012, as compared with 15.9bln drams in the same period of the year before.
Of it, about 22.3bln drams was paid directly to tax authorities and about 335.5mln drams was collected by the customs. Direct taxes (profit tax, income tax) exceeded 1.2bln drams, indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax) were about 21.2bln drams, other taxes, dues and fixed payments were 204.6mln drams.
