YEREVAN, June 15. /ARKA/. "Central Depository of Armenia" OJSC and the Central Depository of Belarus, Republican Unitary Enterprise "Republican Central Securities Depository" (CDB) concluded an agreement on opening of bilateral nominee accounts.
Within the framework of this agreement, CDA and CDB customers get access to the entire range of services provided by the Depositories in respect to registration of securities, settlement of transactions with securities and other services associated with the execution of rights for securities.
The bilateral link between two depositories will allow performing cross-border operations in a more efficient manner. In addition, it will facilitate operations of the investors of both countries in Armenian and Belarusian securities markets.
Currently CDA has nominee accounts opened with the National Settlement Depository of Russia, KACD (Republic of Kazakhstan) and Clearstream Banking S.A.
