YEREVAN, February 23. /ARKA/. The Yerevan-based ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK said today it will show assistance to Armenian producers of herbal tea to start exports of their products to Germany.
The bank said in a press release that Armenian companies Sari Tei (Mountain Tea) and Antaram, which showcased their products at an organic exhibition Biophax 2018 in the German city of Nuremberg, concluded an export agreement with the German company TeeGschwendner.
"We learned about the two Armenian companies through the Organic Agriculture program, conducted by the German Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) and ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK. I think the project was a good opportunity to create prospects for both producers of organic tea in Armenia and us," said Lukasz Parobin, production director at TeeGschwendner.
According to him, the German company will not limit itself to buying tea from Armenian partners only, and counts on wider cooperation. In particular, Parobin noted that TeeGschwendner will familiarize the Armenian partners with the standards and features of the European market, as well as conduct a training course for the employees of these companies.
