YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. Household deposits in foreign currency totaled 458.8bln drams by the end of February, an increase of 1.6% compared to the end of January level, Armenia’s central bank reported.
Foreign currency time deposits alone exceeded 389bln drams by the end of February 2013, which is about 84.8% of the overall deposits in foreign currency (1.5% increase against the end of January)
Dram deposits of Armenian households were about 208.6bln drams in the reporting period, a 6.7% increase against the previous record.
Total volume of deposits in commercial banks exceeded 1,267.3bln drams by the end of February (1.7% increase).
