YEREVAN, June 13. /ARKA/. Foreign currency household deposits in Armenia’s commercial banks totaled 559.3 billion drams by the end of April, an increase of 1.2% compared to March, the Central Bank posted on its official website.

Foreign currency time deposits by households were over 481.1 billion drams or nearly 86% of the overall foreign currency household deposits, a 0.6% increase compared to the month before.

Local currency (AMD) household deposits were about 267 billion drams in the reporting month, a 4.3% increase from March.
