YEREVAN, April 12. /ARKA/. The share of idle and written- off assets of Armenia’s residents inched up by 0.95 p.p. in February from January to 5.28%, the Central Bank said Friday.
Commerce accounted for the highest number of idle assets --nearly 1.14% (against 0.77% in January); consumer loans accounted for 0.9% (0.8% in January); construction –for 0.8% (0.25% in January).
At the same time, processing industry accounted for 0.68%, agricultural sphere –0.50%, mortgage lending -0.41%, catering –0.26%. There are no idle assets in financial sphere.
The aggregate volume of the assets at Armenia’s commercial banks totaled 2546,7 billion drams as of late February 2013.
