YEREVAN, September 20. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Central Bank and all 17 commercial banks will work on September 21, when Armenia marks the Independence Day, the Central Bank said today. It said that the banks will work also on Saturday, September 22, which is a day of silence before the elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan.

‘The Central Bank will work on September 21 and September 22 from 9:00 to 17:00 for securing uninterrupted transactions and servicing of accounts of campaign funds of the parties and blocs, participating in the elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan," the regulator said.

It said the corresponding subdivisions of the Central Bank will service cash and non-cash transactions of citizens and campaign funds of the parties.
