Armenian central bank joins IOSC

YEREVAN, January 22, /ARKA/. The chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Artur Javadyan signed on January 18 a Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSC).

The Central Bank was officially included in the IOSC list of the Memorandum (Appendix A).
According to the Central Bank, joining the Memorandum will provide the Armenian Central Bank with an opportunity to ensure effective cooperation with authorized foreign bodies in terms of preventing and uncovering violations in the legislation of the securities market and creating an additional guarantee of protecting the interests of investors. -0-
