YEREVAN, November 1. / ARKA /. VTB Bank (Armenia) was one of the leading banks by size of taxes paid for the first 9 months 2016. The Russian-owned bank paid a total of 2.8 billion drams in various taxes, according to its press release.

The bank was second among 19 commercial banks and 27th in the list of the 1000 largest corporate taxpayers, according to the data, released by the State Revenues Committee (SRC).

All the 19 commercial banks were among the 1,000 largest corporate taxpayers accounting for 5.3% of the total volume of taxes paid in the reporting period. In general, the 1000 largest taxpayers paid more than 525 billion drams in various taxes.
