YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/. Average interest rates on long-term deposits ( for over 1 year period) for individuals in Armenia downed by 0.5 p.p. in May from April, according to the data available on the Central Bank’s official website.
The average interest rate on deposits in Armenian drams tumbled by 0.3 p.p., and in foreign currency –by 0.7 p.p. to 11.8 % and 7.4% respectively within the reported period, the source shows.
At the same time, the average interest rate on long-term deposits in drams for legal entities dashed by 0.9 p.p. to 9.8%, and in foreign currency- by 0.5 p.p. to 5.8%. ($1- 413.50 drams). --0--
