Around $68 million bought by Armenian banks last week

YEREVAN, April 10. /ARKA/. Armenia’s commercial banks bought around $54.5 million from the local foreign currency market on April 3 to 7 at the average weighted exchange rate of 483.57 drams per one USD, the Central Bank of Armenia reported on Monday.
It said the banks also bought 11.4 million euros and 770.1 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 514.06 and 8.55 drams per one euro and one ruble respectively.
The banks also sold about $72.3 million, € 12 million and 339.9 million rubles at average weighted exchange rates of 485.14, 518.38 and 8.66 drams respectively.
