YEREVAN, December 1. /ARKA/. The average nominal monthly salary in Armenia's finance and insurance sectors, which are singled out for the highest salaries paid to their employees, went 0.9% down in September 2015, compared with September 2014, to AMD 350,305, the National Statistical Service of Armenia reports.
Salaries at information and communication technology segments and in mining industry were high as well – the average salaries here were AMD 388,100 and AMD 342,700 respectively.
The lowest paid employees were in culture and leisure (AMD 115,000), other services (AMD 116,900), education (AMD 118,000), housing and utilities services (AMD 121,700) and agriculture with forestry and fishery (AMD 121,600).
