YEREVAN, October 20, /ARKA/. The participants of the three-day international conference on organic agriculture, nature protection and poverty reduction, initiated by the Germany's Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU), have revealed Armenia’s eco-potential.

The conference’s focus was on such issues as conservation of Armenia's biodiversity, sectoral issues of international significance, the role of agricultural cooperatives, as well as the importance of the development of organic agriculture and its prospects in Armenia.  In this context, the Germany’s Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union and Acba bank have been taking joint steps for 6 years already to solve these problems and develop the sector.
