YEREVAN, June 25. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia urges citizens not to believe rumors that some banks will be stripped of their licenses, the press office of the regulator reports.

According to the press release, rumors spread recently in Internet and social networks that some banks' licenses have lost their validity and these banks no longer operate in Armenia's financial sector.

The central bank says all the banks registered in Armenia continue their activities in usual regime.
The authority to void banks licenses belongs solely to the Central Bank of Armenia, and the regulator has voided no bank license and has no intention to do that.
