YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Finance Minister Vardan Aramyan met today with a group of analysts of the international rating agency Moody's Investors Service, who had arrived in Armenia to review the sovereign rating of the country.

The Armenian Ministry of Finance said Aramyan spoke about the latest macroeconomic developments, program budgeting, and introduced the reforms designed to revise fiscal rules, tax policy, tax accounting and internal audit. He also took all the questions from Moody’s analysts.

In 2017 August Moody's Investors Service confirmed Armenia’s long-term issuer rating and the rating of unsecured debt obligations at the level of B1, with Stable forecast saying the B1 issuer rating was supported by the country's track record of robust economic and financial management through effective fiscal and monetary policies, and high debt affordability. -0-
