YEREVAN, October 12. / ARKA /. The Russian-owned VTB Bank (Armenia) and Visa named today the winners of their joint marketing campaign "Summer with VTB."

The campaign, designed for holders of Visa payment cards, issued by VTB Bank (Armenia) ran from 15 June to 15 September 2015. The eligible participants were those who used their cards to make at least 300,000 drams worth purchases in Armenia and abroad, including online purchases.

According to a bank press release, total cashless transactions made during the campaign  by using Visa cards increased by 70% from the same period last year. The televised prize drawing was held October 10 at Kentron TV. Ten winners, each receiving 500,000 drams, were named as a result of a random drawing.
