Armenia’s March inflation listed second in CIS

YEREVAN, May 31. /ARKA/. Armenia reported an inflation at 2.7% in March of 2012 from December 2011, and this benchmark is the second among CIS states, according to the CIS Statistical Committee.

According to the source, at the same time consumer prices in Armenia jumped by 0.1% in March from February.

The statistics shows that all CIS countries reported inflation at average 1.4% in March of 2012 from December of 2011.

The maximum rise in consumer prices was recorded in Belarus at 5%, in Russia- 1.5%, Tajikistan- 1.2%, Kazakhstan- 1.1%, Moldova- 1%, Kyrgyzstan- 0.9% and Ukraine- 0.7%.

Azerbaijan reported inflation at 0.5%. The statistics doesn’t provide any information on Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.—0--
