Armenia’s commercial banks purchase about $68.8 mln at intra-banking forex market last week

YEREVAN, February 23. /ARKA/. Armenian commercial banks purchased about $68.8 mln at a weighted average rate of 478.13 drams per $1 in intra-banking foreign exchange market on February 16 to 20, the press service of the Central Bank reported.
In the same period, about 8.3 mln euros and about 576.3 mln rubles were purchased on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 543.77 drams per €1 and 7.55 drams per ruble respectively.
At the same time, about $65.2mln, €12.3mln and about 240.9 mln rubles were sold on the intra-banking forex market at weighted average exchange rates of 480.02 drams, 548.36drams and 7.82 drams respectively.
