Armenian banks bought $67.9 million in one week

YEREVAN, January 25. /ARKA/. Armenia-based commercial banks bought a total of $67.9 million from the local foreign exchange intra-market from January 18 to 22 at the weighted average exchange rate of 484.81 drams per $1, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia said.
It said also in the same time span they bought 11.4 million Euros and about 1 billion Russian rubles at weighted average exchange rates of 526.19 per one Euro and 6.01 drams per one ruble.
The banks also sold $74.1 million, €17.3 million and 380 million Russian rubles at the weighted average exchange rates of 487.29 drams, 530.30 drams and 6.15 drams respectively.
