YEREVAN, September 2, /ARKA/. The total assets of Armenian insurance companies grew by 4.17% in the second quarter of 2010 (by 711.8 million Drams) to 17.8 billion Drams.
According to an ARKA analysis, Rosgosstrakh Armenia with 2.7 billion Drams worth assets was the leader in terms of assets size. Its assets rose by 12.4% in the second quarter or by 301.8 million Drams. The company accounted for 15.39% of insurance companies’ overall assets.
The second largest company, in terms of assets size, was Ingo Armenia with 2.5 billion Drams worth assets. Its assets grew by 7.38% in Q2 or by 172.1 million Drams to make 14.08% of all assets of insurance companies.
