YEREVAN, August 22. /ARKA/. The Acba Bank and Germany's Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) have summed up the results of a competition announced as part of a jointly implemented "Development of Organic Agriculture in 2023-2024" program. 

The applicants' prospects for export of organic products in the event of certification and growing interest in the product, as well as the program's environmental impact, short- and long-term goals, motivation and risks had been considered. 

This year, with the assistance of the program, 13 SMEs and individual entrepreneurs will undergo certification. The winners of the "Development of Organic Agriculture 2023-2024" competition are:

1. Narek Hovhannisyan (beekeeping)

2. Samvel Hakobyan (dried fruit production) .

3. Naira Hambardzumyan (fruit processing)

4. Nairi Galstyan (beekeeping)

5. Suren Grigoryan (vegetable processing)

6. Ashot Ghazaryan (grain processing)

7. Vigen Mnatsakanyan (beekeeping)

8. Nerses Manukyan (beekeeping)

9. Areg Galstyan (tea production)

10. Levon Paronyan (grain processing)

11. Vardan Kocharyan (beekeeping)

12. Hayarpi Hakobyan (beekeeping)

13. Gohar Movsisyan (grain and vegetable processing).

The Acba Bank and NABU have been jointly implementing the program  since 2015. Its goal is to promote the development of organic agriculture in Armenia. --0--
