YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. Since June 2023 Armenia's banks have provided 200 loans sought for construction of housing in border villages, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs David Khachatryan said on Tuesday.

He said many families have already started construction. The amount of government support is 16 million drams.

Khachatryan said at a press conference that refugees can build houses with a larger area if they wish, but they will have to attract their own funds for that.

In addition, the amount of loan t provided by the bank can be increased. However, in this case the latter will have to conduct an analysis to assess the creditworthiness of the applicant.  Refugees from Nagorno-Karabakh can also take advantage of this program. -0-
