YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. The total volume of transactions made on the Armenian Securities Exchange (AMX) in 2023 amounted to about 185.1 billion drams, down from 241.8 billion drams in 2022, the National Statistical Committee reported.

In the first quarter of last year the volume of transactions amounted to about 32.7 billion drams, in the second quarter – to 37.1 billion, in the third quarter – to about 59 billion, and in the fourth quartet to 56.4 billion.

The repo deals accounted for 35.9 billion of the total volume of transactions on AMX, while over 3.4 billion were equity deals, 90 billion drams were deals with government bonds and 55.7 billion drams were deals with corporate bonds.

The total number of transactions on AMX during the reporting period fell to 6,472 from 7,733 in 2022.

The number of companies listed on AMX rose to 97 (28 in 2022). ($1 - AMX 403.71) -0-.
