YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. The United Social Service has published a list of 11 Armenian banks that have joined the cashback program developed by the government for pensioners and beneficiaries.

Starting March 30, cardholders of Acba Bank, ID-Bank, Araratbank, Ardshinbank, Artsakh Bank, Evocabank, Inecobank, Converse Bank, AMIO Bank (formerly Armbusinessbank), Armeconombank and Unibank are entitled to 10% cashback when paying for goods, services and utilities with their cards.

"If you are not a cardholder of one of these banks and want to join the cashback program, you can change the organization paying pensions or allowances and choose one of the mentioned banks. This can be done online on the website of the United Social Service in the section "Online Applications" in the window "Apply to change the paying organization" at https://online.ssa.am/index.php?r=site%2Findex-pension," the United Social Service said.

In case of online application until March 29, pensions or benefits for April will be paid through the new bank. 

One can apply for a change of bank in person, applying to any territorial center of the United Social Service. 

The service noted that pensions and allowances are paid through 12 banks - Acba Bank, ID-Bank, Araratbank, Ardshinbank, Artsakh Bank, Evocabank, Inecobank, Converse Bank, AMIO Bank, Armeconombank, Unibank, as well as VTB Bank (Armenia). 

From July 1, 2022, pensioners and recipients of allowances using cards of Armenian partner banks receive cashback of 10% of the total amount spent in the previous month, but not more than AMD 5 thousand per month, when making utility payments and non-cash purchases. In summer 2023 the program was extended till the end of 2024.

According to the latest available data, 220,584 people used the cashback program in February 2024, the monthly non-cash turnover reached 8.2 billion drams. ($1 is equal to AMD 401.96). -0-
