Retained earnings of the banks of Armenia in January-July increased by about 39.7% reaching 19.6 billion drams

YEREVAN. September 28. /ARKA/. Retained earnings of the banks of Armenia in January-July 2011 were about 19.6 billion drams increased by 39.7% compared to the same period of 2010, states the official site of the Central Bank of Armenia.

According to the report, total assets of the banking system of Armenia in July increased by 0.4% compared to June making over 1 766 billion drams. Total liabilities of the banks were increased by 0.5% in July, making over 1 426.3 billion drams.

Total balance capital of the banking system of Armenia remained on the same level – 339.7 billion drams.

As of July 31, 201, there were 21 commercial banks in Armenia. ($1 – 370.75 drams). –0–
