Armenia’s Central Bank auctions AMD 500mln worth short-term government bonds

YEREVAN, February 27. /ARKA/. The Central Bank of Armenia said it auctioned Monday the short-term government treasury bonds worth 500 million drams of AMGT13285125 issue and with 13-week maturity period.

According to data compiled by the CB, a total of over 1 421,4 million drams worth bids were made, of them over 1 401,4 million drams worth competitive bids, made by dealers. Along with this, the amount of non-competitive bids, by Treasury Depository, reached 20 million drams.

Five dealers were said to have taken part in the auction of bonds with a 7.1451% average weighted yield and a 8.0000% cutoff point. The previously announced amount of the action was 500 million drams. ($1 – 389.32 drams).—0--
