YEREVAN, August 27, /ARKA/. The State Depository of Precious Stones and Metals Agency, an affiliation of Armenian Finance Ministry, has set new prices for buying and selling precious stones and metals which are effective for this week.

The new prices are for one gram of chemically pure metals. The gold is to be bought at 15,975.24 drams (up by 252.18 drams from the previous week) and sold at 17,364.04 drams (up by 274.11 drams); silver is to be bought at 215.35 drams (down by 0.59  drams) and sold at 234.07 drams (down by 0.65 drams);

platinum is to be bought at 14,186.54 (up by 240.29 drams) and sold at 15,420.16 drams (up by 261.19 drams); palladium is to be bought at 8,583.12 drams (down by 76.66 drams) and sold at 9,329.48 drams (down by 83.32 drams) ($1- 485.49 drams). -0-
