YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. Ameria group of companies marked its membership in the Armenian-American Chamber of Commerce (AACC) in Los Angeles and sponsored the 13th business awards ceremony conducted by AACC, Ameriabank said to ARKA today.
According to its press release, the event was attended by over 400 Armenian-American business people and was the largest event this year. Special awards went to three well-known U.S.-Armenian entrepreneurs in recognition of their business successes and their contribution to the Armenian community.
According to the press release, the Best Company 2012 award went to Turbo Tyres. Lawyer Maro Burunsuzyan was named the winner in the category Woman Entrepreneur of the Year, while the Entrepreneur of the Year award was given to Gagik Gevorkyan, the chairman of Estet Jewelry House.
