YEREVAN, March 25. / ARKA /. Armenia and China have made their first swap deal worth 77 billion drams and one billion yuans respectively, the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia said. It said an agreement to that end was signed on Wednesday after a meeting of the head of Central Bank of Armenia Arthur Javadyan and the president of the National Bank of China Governor Zhou Xiaochuan.
It said also today the Chinese yuan is traded at 76.93 drams.
"The agreement is aimed at increasing trade and direct investment between the two countries", the Central bank said.
