YEREVAN, February 6. /ARKA/. Speculation about the impending collapse of the euro zone economy is not grounded, head of EU delegation to Armenia, Trajan Hristea, said Saturday at the opening of the 9^th International Economic Forum "Bridge" in the Armenian town of Tsakhkadzor.

"Speculation that the EU is moving towards collapse is the result of lack of information" he said, citing as an example the rumors about the instability of the euro.

"This talk is not backed by logical basis, as today the euro exchange rate is the same as five years ago," he said.
