Banks’ investments in government bonds in Armenia shrink 3.8% to AMD 388.4 billion in June

YEREVAN, August 14. /ARKA/. Banks’ investments in government bonds in Armenia totaled AMD 388.4 billion in late June after shrinking 3.8% over the month, the Central Bank of Armenia reports.
Non-banking entities’ investments in government bonds shrank 1.1% to AMD 76.6 billion, while the central bank’s investments grew 2.4 times to AMD 47.9 billion and non-banking agents and dealers invested nothing in government bonds.
Nonresidents’ investments in government bonds amounted to AMD 7.8 billion.
