Armenia’s money supply rose by 1.6% to 1,539 bln drams in March

YEREVAN, May 5. /ARKA/. Armenia’s money supply rose by 1.6% to about 1,539 billion drams as of the end of March compared to February, ArmStat reported based on preliminary information from the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).
Cash outside the banking system amounted to about 328.5 billion drams as of the end of the reporting month, compared to over 330.9bln at the end of February. Call deposits (in drams) were 181.7bln drams against about 185.3bln drams in late February.
Time deposits exceeded 280.9 billion drams in the reporting period (275.4bln drams in late February). Deposits in foreign currency were over 747.6bln drams (723bln at the end of February).
