YEREVAN, March 16. /ARKA/. Armenian Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan received on Wednesday the Executive Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Arif Baharudin.

The Ministry of Finance said the sides discussed the details of current programs implemented with the support of the Asian Development Bank and an exchange of views took place on regional and global challenges and measures that need to be implemented to overcome them.

The minister described Armenia's cooperation with the ADB as exemplary and thanked for the constructive interaction over the past 15 years.

Pointing out that cooperation of the Armenian government with ADB is an important benchmark for international investors, Minister Khachatryan stressed that ADB is actively involved in the reform process in Armenia

Arif Baharudin, in turn, noted that the Republic of Armenia is one of the countries with a good reputation and is one of the important partners of the Asian Development Bank. During the meeting, both sides stressed the importance of expanding cooperation.

ADB has been cooperating with the Armenian government since 2005. As of the beginning of 2022, ADB has allocated loans and grants to the country in the amount of about $1.6 billion; programs are implemented in such sectors as transport, public sector management, finance, energy, water supply, and social services. --0—
