YEREVAN, September 14. /ARKA/. A 34-year-old resident of Yerevan has been detained on suspicion of selling counterfeit US dollars, Armenian Police reported. 

According to the Police, an employee of a local bank branch located on Moskovyan Street called the police and reported that a man handed over three fake 50-dollar banknotes. The report was conveyed to the central police department, and an operative group was dispatched to the bank.

The police officers identified the suspicious customer - he turned out to be a 34-year-old Yerevan resident. He was detained on suspicion of acquiring and selling counterfeit money. The case was referred to investigators. -0-
