YEREVAN, April 11. /ARKA/. From April 4 to 8 all Armenia-based banks bought over $68.6 million at the local forex market at the average weighted exchange rate of 481.09 drams per $1, the Central Bank said.

In the same time span they bought also 8.4 million euros and about 772 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 546.31 and 7.03 drams respectively.

The banks also sold about $77.2 million, € 12.7 million and 370.2 million Russian rubles at the average weighted exchange rates of 482.82, 550.22 and 7.12 drams respectively.

Armenia’s banks lent 44.2 billion Armenian drams and 72.6 million US dollars over a period between March 26 and April 2. ($1– AMD 483.48). --0---
