YEREVAN, September 18. /ARKA/. Net inflow of individual transfers to Armenia via international money transfer systems grew 15% in the second quarter of this year, compared with the same quarter of the previous year, to AMD 147.5 billion, the Central Bank of Armenia reports in a fresh issue of its quarterly bulletin.
According to it, 821,000 transfers have been operated over the mentioned period. The money transferred to Armenia exceeded 7.5 times the amount sent outside.
The average amount of one transfer was AMD 207,000.
